How Long Will It Take to Build My Trades Website?

Once you have placed your order for a New Tradesman Website and paid the setup fee, we are committed to making your new website live as quickly as possible. (Provided you have sent us all the necessary information and photos you would like us to use!)

However, the exact time frame for completing your website may depend on factors, such as the number of pages you need, your desired functionality, our current schedule, and more. Our priority is to ensure that we get it right the first time. Rest assured, we will keep you informed on the expected timeline and important dates throughout the process.

We will prepare and send you simple forms to fill out with information about your company and the services you would like displayed on your new tradesman website. You can also upload any photos or accreditation/membership logos that you want to use. If you already have a domain or an existing website, we will request the necessary information to either transfer it to our hosting service or point your new website to it.

How Much Does a Trades Website Package Cost?

As you choose the pages you need, the price will automatically update, helping you stay within your budget. Don’t worry – you can always request additional pages at any time. If you are satisfied with the website cost and have found answers to all your questions, you can place your order online 24/7 at a time that is convenient for you.

Here's how the website pricing works:

  • There are no setup fees.
  • Visit the product page to find your monthly cost.
  • The cost includes a Home Page, a Contact page, GDPR pages, three Services Pages & a Consent Management Platform.
  • Adding more Service Pages or features, such as Live Google & Facebook Review Feeds or Quote Tools, will adjust your Monthly Subscription cost to fit your needs.

The Monthly Subscription covers both your Website and the Hosting, Support & Maintenance Package. Your initial subscription period is for 12 months. After this period, the subscription continues on a monthly basis, and you can cancel at any time if you wish.

I Already Have a Logo – Can I Use It?

If you would like to use your existing logo for your Tradesman Website, you can certainly do so! Please send us your logo in a web-compatible format, such as .png or .svg file. After we receive your logo, we will coordinate the colours and fonts of your website to match those in your logo.

If you don’t have a logo or would like a new one, we can create a professional logo design for you. We will provide you with a complete Logo Pack, which includes:

  • Artwork files for your tradesman website and social media use
  • Artwork files suitable for print (e.g., workwear, business cards, flyers, vans)
  • A 1-Page Guide detailing the fonts and colours used (You can share this with your vehicle livery or workwear company for their reference.)

(Please make sure to provide all the required information and photos!) Can I Use My Logo? I Already Have One.

If you would like to use your existing logo for your small business website, you can definitely do so! Please send us your logo in a web-compatible format, such as .png or .svg. Once we receive it, we’ll make sure the colours and fonts on your website match your logo.

Do You Do eCommerce Websites?

As a full-service digital marketing company, we offer SEO-optimised Shopify eCommerce websites to our new clients. Please call us on 01752 291865 to discuss or email us at contact@wdseo.co.uk to discuss your eCommerce project.

Our eCommerce SEO services are available exclusively to clients for whom we have developed an eCommerce website. We don't work with Wix or other eCommerce sites as a platform.

Do You Take Credit Cards, and Do You Offer Payment Plans for Your Bespoke Websites?

Yes, we accept credit and debit cards, if that’s the easiest way for you pay.

For your Bespoke Website Design, you can either pay a 50% deposit, and the remaining 50% when we put your new website live, or you can choose one of our finance options.

We offer nothing to pay for the first month, and then 3 months of interest-free finance, or 12 months of finance, subject to interest. Just head over to our Finance Options page to find out more, and to check eligibility – only a soft credit check is done, so this will not affect your credit rating. Please note: our finance options are currently available to UK Limited Companies only.

Can I Host My Website on My Own Hosting, as It Looks Cheaper Than Yours?

I’m afraid not for one of our websites.

We only offer fully managed, hosted websites with quality website hosting to ensure optimal website speed and security, etc. Site speed, for example, is an absolutely crucial factor in SEO these days, so we need to be sure that your website’s hosting is top-notch. In addition, if there is ever an issue with one of our client’s websites, we need to be sure that we can get hold of excellent customer support from our hosting company, so we have chosen them very carefully indeed.

Can You Manage My Social Media Marketing?

We work with our website clients advising them on which social media channels are going to be best for their business. Then, we can set the accounts up or optimise existing accounts. Clients can choose one or more of our really practical Social Media Training Courses – delivered via Zoom Video or in-person at our Plymouth office.
