What is your role at WDSEO, and what does it involve?

I’m the Videographer at WDSEO and joined the company in 2025. My role involves filming and editing video projects for the company and its clients. The types of projects we produce include explainer videos, promos, testimonials, social ads and basic animation. I also undertake photography, audio production and creative copywriting.

How did you get into the role?

After studying History and Media Studies at university, my heart was set on working in the media industry. I started out in newspaper advertising sales and progressed to radio, where I wrote and produced commercials. After this, I became a full time Voiceover Artist for a number of years, recording projects for brands, such as Google, Microsoft and Princess Yachts. In recent years, I have worked as a Content Producer, where I helped produce podcasts, social media content, radio advertising and marketing content, as well as recording actors for TV and film projects. My role at WDSEO unites these experiences and skills to help deliver high-quality, effective digital marketing content for our clients.

What’s your favourite part about working for WDSEO?

Producing a varied range of video projects for a diverse range of clients. I also really enjoy working in an eclectic team with specialisms across every aspect of digital marketing.

What do you spend your free time doing?

I used to play a lot of badminton but had to stop after injuring my knees! I love watching sports, particularly football and F1. I’m a big YouTube consumer and love a good murder mystery story.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I’m an early bird, as I normally fall asleep by 8pm!

If you won the lottery, what would you spend your money on?

A mansion, a holiday mansion and a sports car.

What skill would you like to master?

I tried to learn the guitar when I was younger, but was too impatient. I would love to be able to read music and be a chart topper on the hit parade.

What is your go-to meal?

Pizza or curry. But my favourite is a roast dinner; I can’t get enough of crispy roast potatoes.

If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?

I would pick Outlook, WhatsApp and a browser.

IOS.

Online gaming (Xbox, etc.) or board games? 

I enjoy video games but I have to set the difficulty to easy as I’m not very good.

Dogs or cats? 

Cats. I have a polydactyl cat called Bigfoot.

Dream holiday destination?

I would love to travel across America.

Countryside or the city?

If it’s sunny, the countryside.

Cakes or a pasty? 

A big fat steak pasty for me.

Favourite film of all time? 

The Godfather.
