This week, we’re celebrating a huge milestone – our company’s fifth birthday! Whilst 2020 has so far been a rather strange year, it’s also a very special one for us and we plan to celebrate in style to mark this landmark occasion.
A Letter from the MD
I’m thrilled to be celebrating the company’s fifth birthday, we’ve come a very long way in just a few short years, so to be celebrating five years of the business is a very special achievement for the WDSEO family.
When I started the company back in 2015, I was a one-man-band working from my dining table; designing, developing and building websites. In time, the team grew, and we moved into our office at Reynolds Park (which we’ve recently purchased!) as we’d definitely outgrown the dining table!
I’ve built a team of talented people who are passionate and strive for excellence in all they do, ensuring that our high standard of service has never faltered. As the team grew, we began to offer more services, branching out into SEO, social media management, branding, graphic design and paid advertising! I’m immensely proud to say that we provide a full-service agency experience with the care and attention only a small business can provide. We’ve been recognised as ‘One of the Top 3 Web Design Companies in Plymouth’ in 2019 and 2020, an accolade we’re very proud of.
We’ve built a wide and loyal client base over the past five years, working with everyone from sole traders to large corporations across a number of different industries. From designing the branding for a holiday cottage complex and managing the social media accounts of an electrical contracting firm to building a bespoke, e-commerce website for a leading caravan dealership, we’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of companies in the local area and further afield.
For the rest of 2020, we will be re-designing our website and recruiting for a Junior Web Developer and a Junior SEO Executive to join our team, as well as continuing to provide our usual excellent service! As for the future, well; the only way is up! I can’t wait to see what the next five years bring.
